The Broomstick Mile

This is a new workout (to me at least). I have enough experience with CrossFit to know this would take about 30 minutes or so.

The Broomstick Mile
So-called because an empty Olympic bar is used. Not exactly a broomstick, but this is CrossFit!

Using an empty 45lb Olympic bar
25 back squats
25 front squats
25 overhead squats
Run 400 meters
25 overhead [...]

Running: One of my favorite things (not!)

Tonight’s WOD was all running, which I admit I’ve never liked. At least it was sprinting, which is better than long-distance.

For time:

400 meters (rest 45 seconds)
400 meters (rest 45 seconds)

Then:

200 meters (rest 30 seconds)
200 meters (rest 30 seconds)
200 meters (rest 30 seconds)
200 meters (rest 30 seconds)

Then:

100 meters (rest 15 seconds)
100 [...]
