The Broomstick Mile

This is a new workout (to me at least). I have enough experience with CrossFit to know this would take about 30 minutes or so.

The Broomstick Mile
So-called because an empty Olympic bar is used. Not exactly a broomstick, but this is CrossFit!

Using an empty 45lb Olympic bar
25 back squats
25 front squats
25 overhead squats
Run 400 meters
25 overhead [...]

Overhead press: New PR @ 125lbs!!

Today’s warmup was the overhead press:

5-5-3-3-1-1-1

My weights:

75-85-95-105-110-115-125 (new PR!!!)

125lbs may not seem all that heavy, considering that one of the younger 20-something guys was pressing 250lbs, but it was a new PR, which is the only thing that counts for me!

Score will be measured in horsepower

Weight: 65#

HP: 0.11
