Our warmup is your workout

CrossFitters like to say that “Our warmup is your workout.” This morning’s warmup was a perfect example of this.

Tabata warmup
8 rounds of 20 seconds of as many reps as you can manage then 10 seconds rest. Repeat 8 times for a total of 4 minutes.

12 bodyweight deadlifts
21 box jumps
50 KB Snatches

My results:
185lb deadlift
20″ box jump
35lb kettlebell

I could have used a taller box and heavier KB, but Tim was using them!!

WOD – A New Thang

This is a new thing Tim devised:

For Time:
200,000 ft lbs of work
Work in 2 man teams and complete 200,000 ft lbs of work using any combinations of functional movement.

I’m not sure how Tim came up with the calculation as there are various methods.

Teamed with Christy.

We each did:

91 KB snatches (Me: 35lb & Christy 26lb)
86 burpees
