Where I went yesterday (Sunday, Oct. 5): From Lake Isabelle 10-05-08 Share and Enjoy: Today we (me, Lisa, Jenifer, Richard, and dog Jax) took a hike up Herman Gulch, which is near the Eisenhower Tunnel just off I-70. According to the U.S. Forest Service, the trail is 3.5 miles one way. the trail head is at 10,400 feet altitude and ends at 12,000 feet at Herman Lake.
