This is a new workout (to me at least). I have enough experience with CrossFit to know this would take about 30 minutes or so.
The Broomstick Mile
So-called because an empty Olympic bar is used. Not exactly a broomstick, but this is CrossFit!
Using an empty 45lb Olympic bar
25 back squats
25 front squats
25 overhead squats
Run 400 meters
25 overhead [...]
Friday’s workout was a variation on one we’ve done before: 3 clean-and-jerks in 3 minutes, repeat 8 times.
This workout is similar:
As many sets as you can do in 3 minutes:
1 set =
1 power clean 95#
1 thruster 95#
1 Sumo Deadlift High Pull 95#
Rest 1 minute.
Repeat for a total of 5 cycles.

CrossFit always has cute names for their workouts. Where else would you see “Three Bars of Death”? But there’s a reason it’s called that. I had another near-death experience. This is harder than it looks!!!
21-15-9 reps for time of:
Clean squat press
Ring dips
I used two 35lb kettlbells. You can also use dumbbells in place of kettlebells.

“2 Minute Defense”
5 rounds of:
1 power clean
3 cleans
2 push jerks
Sprint 200 feet
Rest 2 minutes and repeat
Weight used: 105lb barbell
Time: 12:45 (including the 2-minute rest)
Not bad!!!
