My first ever Olympic Weight Lifting under competition conditions. Quick background:
- I have done no sports or exercise for 17 years since school.
- Started doing Crossfit in 2007 where I was first introduced to the Snatch and Clean & Jerk.
- (Olympic weightlifting is just a component of the general exercises we do in Crossfit, it's not specifically a weightlifting sport.)
- Had almost all of 2008 off exercise due to Golfers Elbow.
- I've been back at the gym for just 4 weeks before this video was shot.
- 2007 PB's are 65kg for Snatch and 90kg for Clean and Jerk, I'm still building back up to those levels whilst my elbow returns to 100%
