I'm still sore from Saturday's monthly challenge. So, today's workout wasn't that bad, comparatively speaking. Still, executing a proper snatch is very difficult for me because I have very stiff shoulders. So, I do split snatches as they are not as demanding on my shoulders, and I feel they are stronger. Split snatches used to be standard in the Olympics, but were replaced by the squat snatch in the 1960s.
